EU-IBISBA – EUropean Industrial Biotechnology Innovation and Syntethic Biology Accelerator
An accelarator for research and innovation in Industrial Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology
IBISBA is a Pan-European R&D infrastructure that creates a framework for accelerated end-to-end bioprocess development to rapidly deliver industry-ready processes. Operating in a multidisciplinary environment, IBISBA uses synthetic biology to develop translational research in industrial biotechnology, providing innovation in areas such as computer-assisted design of biocomponents, biocatalysis and bioprocesses, and covering a range of technology areas, including downstream processing and multi-performance analysis. IBISBA also offers subsidised access to best-in-class facilities through Open Calls, which are launched regularly and open to any industrial biotechnology professional.
IBISBA is on the ESFRI Roadmap 2018 and has started the Preparation Phase on the 1st January 2020.
