Password management

Password one-year duration

You account's password expires annually and you must change it once a year. This is in compliance with current regulations on IT security and privacy.

You will receive an email reminder with the instructions to change your password ten days before the deadline, one year after your last password change.

n.surname@campus.unimib.it accounts

You can change your password using the "change password" function of Student services in your private area. This requires you to login.
The password will be updated automatically for all other University digital services.

name.surname@unimib.it and name.surname@ospiti.unimib.it accounts

You can change your password with the Change password procedure available in your profile page.
The password will be updated automatically for all other University digital services.

Forgot your username?

If you forgot your username, follow the instructions on the account recovery page. This will send you instructions on your private email.

You can reset your password also on the Student Services regenerate password page.

If during the password recovery procedure you get an error like private email not registered (or email privata non registrata), you must send an email to your University Secretary:

In the email, ask to fix your personal email address and attach

Other accounts: name.surname@unimib.it, name.surname@ospiti.unimib.it, structure@unimib.it

If during the password recovery procedure you get an error like private email not registered (or email privata non registrata) and you are a member of our staff, send an email to our IdM office.
