Account duration and termination

Every of our account has a set duration and, when the duration expires, the account is terminated.

You need to prepare with a proper backup and handover.

You can extend you account's duration if you are subscribed to BicoccAlumni.

@campus accounts

You @campus account will always be available for you to access Segreterie Online.

Your access to Google services, like Gmail and Google Drive, lasts as long as your career and stays up for some time later:

  • one year after one of the courses on the following list
    • Advanced training courses
    • Professional Master’s Programmes
    • Refresher courses
    • Training courses
  • three years after ending any other one of our courses
  • indefinitely, as long as there is a subscription at BiccoccAlumni

After the expiring date, any data in email and drive will be lost: you’ll need to handle the backup and any handover.

You can download your data or trasfer it on a different Google account.

@unimib accounts

  • With a contract: the account stays active for 18 months after the end of the contract, then the account is terminated, email and files on Google Drive are removed
  • Without a contract: at the end of the contract the account is terminated, email and files on Google Drive are removed

Account termination

If you received an account deactivation alert you’ll need to backup any data you need from any of our cloud service (Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Onedrive, etc).

For data on Google services, you’ll need to download your data or trasfer it on a different Google account.
