After submission of your admission application on DreamApply and pre-enrolment on Universitaly, you can proceed with your visa request:
1. Book an appointment with the Italian diplomatic mission in your Country;
2. Verify on the Italian diplomatic mission website all required documents and bring them with you at your appointment together with the Summary we will provide you with after validation of your Universitaly application.
1. Once arrived in Italy, you can book an appointment with the International Admissions & Credential Evaluations help desk to pick up the kit for the first Permit of stay request
2. The kit and the receipt inside will be partially pre-filled to ensure that your request is forwarded to the Central 'Questura' Office in Via Montebello, where you will find a desk dedicated to study permit's requests with specialized staff.
3. On the kit's receipt you will find the date and time of the appointment at the Immigration Office of the Central 'Questura' Station (Via Montebello, 26). It is important that for this appointment you already have a permanent residence.
4. You will need to bring the originals of all the documents inserted in the kit.
5. When your Permit of stay is ready to be collected, you will be notified by SMS or registered letter sent by the Italian Post Office. In this regard, as soon as you arrive in our Country, remember to activate an Italian SIM card.
6. Remember that the Permit of stay +is an essential document to stay in Italy.
- You will need to collect the permit of stay kit from one of the post offices that have a “Sportello Amico”.
- Remember that in order to renew your permit of stay you will need to present a certificate that certifies that you have passed at least one exam for the first renewal and two for the following ones, except in cases of force majeure.
- You can request the certificate from the career management office as indicated here. The Immigration Office does not accept self-certificates.
