Mentoring

The “peer-to-peer” Tutoring Service is a space designed for you, where you can find listening, guidance, and support throughout your entire university journey. You will be supported by a senior student tutor who knows the university environment firsthand and, together with the Coordination team, is ready to help you find your way, overcome possible difficulties, and face each stage of your academic path with greater confidence. Here, you can ask questions, clarify doubts, share uncertainties, and discover useful strategies to better organize your studies. The goal? To help you experience university life with greater peace of mind, awareness, and satisfaction.

Who is the service for

The Service is designed for you, whether you are a first-year student enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or a single-cycle Master’s degree, or already attending the following years of your program. You can access the service at any time during your academic journey. Whatever stage you are experiencing, you will find a space dedicated to you and your needs.

Service delivery methods

All activities, both individual and group-based, are completely free of charge. You can take part in a safe, confidential environment with full respect for your privacy. You will be guided by senior students from your Degree Program, who are familiar with the path you are experiencing. You can meet them in person or online, depending on your needs.

Are you a first-year student (Bachelor’s or single-cycle Master’s)?

  • Are you wondering how university really works?
  • How to organize your study for exam sessions?
  • How to plan your courses or manage deadlines?
  • Does everything feel new and a bit different from what you were used to?

The Tutoring Service offers support via institutional email and the e-learning platform, individual or small group meetings (in person or online), and thematic sessions during the most critical times of the year.
Here, you can better understand how to navigate university life, discover services and opportunities, connect with other students, and start building your own study methods. The goal? To help you become more autonomous and confident in your academic journey.

Are you already further along in your studies (second, third year, or beyond)?

  • Do you need to choose or modify your study plan?
  • Did your first year not go as expected and you want to reorganize?
  • Are you wondering how to start your thesis or prepare for graduation?
  • Are you balancing work and study, or living away from home?

The Tutoring Service supports you through meetings, online activities, and group sessions to help you plan your path, overcome challenges, and guide you toward a Master’s program or the professional world.
You don’t have to do it alone: you can discuss, clarify doubts, and move forward with greater awareness.

Have you started your Master’s program?

  • Are you adjusting to a new university environment?
  • Do you want to plan your study path in the best way possible?
  • Are you wondering which opportunities to seize to build your professional future?

Through meetings, individual sessions, and online support, you can navigate available services, projects, and strategic choices. The Tutoring Service accompanies you to give direction to your academic path and your life project, with greater clarity and confidence.

The activities, tailored specifically to your Department or Degree Program, will be communicated directly to you by your assigned tutor via institutional email or the e-learning platform.

You will receive all the information you need to participate and choose the options that best suit your needs. At key moments of the academic year—such as the start of classes, exam sessions, or the beginning of the second semester—the tutors may also visit classrooms to introduce themselves, explain the project, and invite you to take part in the activities.
