The Psychological Counselling Service is a confidential and free support service dedicated to students of the University.
If you are going through a difficult time — related to your studies, personal life, or family situation — you can meet with a psychologist-psychotherapist for a short series of individual sessions.
You do not need to be experiencing a severe crisis to request an appointment. Sometimes feeling stuck, confused, or under pressure is enough to benefit from a professional space for support and reflection.
The aim of the service is to help you gain clarity, better understand the situation you are facing, and identify practical strategies to manage it.
The Psychological Counselling Service is not an emergency service.
If you are in an urgent situation or at immediate risk (to yourself or others), please contact:
- Emergency number: 112
- The nearest Emergency Department (A&E)
