Presentation of the course

Graduates in TNPEE are healthcare professionals in the field of rehabilitation who are able to work within multidisciplinary teams and carry out prevention, assessment and rehabilitation interventions for the main neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood.

Play is the child’s way of engaging with reality and constitutes the main driver of the developmental process.

TNPEE utilises the child’s spontaneous play as a strategy to support their motor, psychological, cognitive and social skills and to foster the maturation of adaptive functions within a close therapeutic alliance. The body is the primary tool that children can use to express themselves and to exert their influence on reality.

A key strength of the degree programme lies in the activities focused on the personal development of each student, aimed at increasing their awareness of their physical and psychological self, which is deeply involved in the therapeutic relationship with patients.
