OBJECTIVES
To develop specialist skills in the field of local nursing care, to provide a response to the healthcare needs of people, families and communities throughout the various phases of life, from infancy through to adult life and old age. Particular attention will be paid to the promotion of healthy lifestyles, illness prevention, caring for people with chronic illnesses or frailties and providing care at home to ensure personal dignity.

Qualified nurses with corresponding degrees or diplomas (L. 1/02)
