COURSE OBJECTIVES
The aim of the Master is to train a professional figure who assumes the role of Information System Manager for Diagnostic Imaging in a hospital setting and in public or private diagnostic centers. The need for this figure stems from the considerable increase in the operational complexity of the radiological area and from the technological revolution that led to the replacement of analog images (plates) with digital images stored on electronic support, and the consequent adoption of IT tools to facilitate them. the management.
Central elements of the information management structure in a modern radiology department are the PACS system (Picture Archiving and Communication System), which has the task of providing for the generation, visualization and distribution of images both for reporting and archiving the RIS (Radiological Information System) system, which has the task of ensuring the overall management of workflow and general data.
