Francesco Bartoli (FB), MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry - RTDb (Department of Medicine and Surgery, University of Milano-Bicocca) and a General Adult Psychiatry (Bassini Hospital, ASST Nord Milano). FB is author of several studies published in International Journals indexed in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science (most of them as a first and/or corresponding author). In 2018 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification – ASN for Associate Professor in the 06/D5 (Psychiatry) Academic Recruitment Field. In 2020 FB received the Brain Sciences Young Investigator Award for his research in biomarkers of severe mental disorders and psychopharmacology. For his reviewer activity, he received the 2018 and 2019 Publons/Web of Science Award as a Top 1 percent peer reviewer in Psychiatry and Psychology. FB has been board member of the Early Career Psychiatrists Section of the Italian Society of Psychiatry (SIP) for 10 years (2011-2021). In 2012 he has been Delegate of Italy at the European Forum of the European Federation of Psychiatry Trainees (EFPT). He is Associate Editor of "Psychiatry Research Case Reports", "BMC Psychiatry", and "Frontiers in Psychiatry", Academic Editor of "Perspectives in Psychiatric Care", Editorial Board Member of "Alpha Psychiatry", and Section Board Member of the "International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health".
