Biography

Francesco Bartoli (FB) is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry (RTDb) at University of Milano-Bicocca since 2021, and a General Adult Psychiatry working at Bassini Hospital, ASST Nord Milano, affiliated with the Department of Medicine and Surgery of University of Milano-Bicocca. FB collaborated on several research projects on the analysis of potential biomarkers and psychopharmacological treatment of bipolar and other severe mental disorders, as well as National and International awarded projects in relevant topics of Psychiatry. In 2020 he received the Brain Sciences Young Investigator Award for his research in biomarkers of severe mental disorders and psychopharmacology. In 2012 he was Delegate of Italy at the European Forum of the European Federation of Psychiatry Trainees (EFPT). FB is the author of several studies published in International Journals (most of them as a first and/or corresponding author). He is Associate Editor of "BMC Psychiatry", Review Editor of "Frontiers in Psychiatry", Guest Editor of "Brain Sciences", Editorial Board Member of "Alpha Psychiatry", and Section Board Member of the "International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health". For his reviewer activity, FB received the 2018 and 2019 Publons/Web of Science Award as a Top 1 percent peer reviewer in Psychiatry and Psychology.
