COURSE OBJECTIVES
Organ transplantation medicine is one of the main achievements of modern medicine and turns out to be the only curative approach for an increasing number of clinical conditions leading to acute or chronic organ failure. The success of this therapy has led to a constant increase in the number of transplants carried out, but also to the concomitant increase in the waiting list, stimulating the search for biological and surgical innovations aimed at increasing the availability of organs and optimizing the results. Transplantation Medicine requires highly specific knowledge, increasingly coming to configure itself as a branch to itself.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
This Master program is designed for graduated candidates in Medicine and Surgery (and habilitation). Postgraduate Diploma in General Surgery or related discipline.
