Today, to mark its 28th anniversary, the University of Milano-Bicocca offered its community and the public two moments dedicated to music, featuring singer-songwriters Arisa and Paolo Jannacci, and to scientific research, under the title “Shaping the future – Celebrating who we are, building what we will become”. The events took place at the “Guido Martinotti” Auditorium, which was fully booked. In the morning, Arisa performed some of her best-known songs and spoke with Andrea Laffranchi, a journalist from Corriere della Sera. In the afternoon, Paolo Jannacci performed his “Piano Solo” concert.
Both events in the Auditorium were introduced by Rector Marco Emilio Orlandi and featured contributions from young professors, researchers and students, who presented their vision of the future, drawing on their experiences and their connection with the University. They discussed their ideas with Luca Beverina, Pro-Rector for Third Mission and Relations with Business. In addition, an exhibition of panels featuring their faces and their visions of the future was inaugurated on the ground floor of Building U6 Agorà.
The day had been preceded yesterday by the presentation of the University of Milano-Bicocca’s “Guidelines for balancing study, parenthood and caregiving” by Rector Marco Emilio Orlandi, Director General Cristiano Nicoletti, Pro-Rector for Equal Opportunities and Diversity Sveva Magaraggia, and Pro-Rector for Relations with the Healthcare System and Health Giuseppe Carrà.
