Title: Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in University Services

This one-hour webinar explores how the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), traditionally applied to teaching and learning, can also inform and enhance university support services.

While UDL is commonly associated with pedagogy, this session takes a broader perspective, using UDL as a framework to understand the diversity of people involved in learning systems and academic life. Drawing on the experience of B.Inclusion services at the University of Milano-Bicocca, the webinar will show how UDL principles can be applied within university services to foster accessibility, inclusion, and equitable participation for all students.

Participants will gain reflections, practical insights, and examples of how inclusive service design can complement inclusive teaching, contributing to more welcoming and responsive higher education institutions.
