Milano-Bicocca on the situation in Iran

What is happening in Iran calls upon our collective conscience. As a public university, the University of Milano-Bicocca cannot remain indifferent in the face of violence, repression, and the denial of fundamental freedoms. We reaffirm our commitment to the values of human rights, freedom of expression, inclusiveness, and the promotion of peace.

To our Iranian students, and to all those within our academic community affected by the events in Iran: you are not alone. The University of Milano-Bicocca is, and will remain, an institution founded on care, listening, and shared responsibility. We believe that universities must not only educate, but also uphold their values and offer solidarity and support to those who are suffering.
