Competition and awards

From science to art, from economics to sociology, "Falling Walls Lab" seeks excellence in the most diverse sectors.

The only requirement for the proposed projects: to be based on an idea capable of breaking down one of the walls of knowledge of our present.
The ten selected projects, including recent graduates, scientists and young creatives, will compete to present their idea at the final Falling Walls Lab in Berlin, on November 8, 2020, which this year will be held in virtual mode. The jury made up of experts from the academic, research and business world will judge the presentations that must be told within a maximum of three minutes each.

The winner will be able to present their project at the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on November 8, 2020 and will receive a ticket to the Falling Walls Conference.
In the final phase of the contest, in Berlin, an international jury will choose the three most deserving projects among one hundred winning finalists of the respective Falling Walls Labs organized around the world.

The winners, awarded the title of "Falling Walls Young Innovator of the Year", will receive a cash prize and will have the opportunity to present their idea again at the "Falling Walls Conference", the next day, always remotely.
