Following the agreement signed with Dokkyo University in Japan, the University of Milano-Bicocca welcomed a visit from Professor Kazuhiro Kudo, an academic with extensive experience in the intercultural field. His research focuses on intercultural competencies in higher education.
On Monday, September 21st, and Tuesday, September 22nd, in collaboration with the International Relations Development Office and the Administrative Staff Training Office, Professor Kudo conducted a workshop and seminar open to administrative staff from the Global Engagement, International Projects and Mobility, and Doctoral School sectors. The course provided key tools and procedures to enhance intercultural awareness and improve the management of international students at our university.
On Wednesday, September 23rd, Professor Kudo met with Professors Giacomo Calorio and Andrea Maurizi, lecturers in Japanese Language and Literature at the "Riccardo Massa" Department of Human Sciences for Education (Bachelor's Degree in Intercultural Communication). The meeting was very positive and offered a great opportunity to discuss student mobility opportunities between the two universities.
