Scanning probe microscopy, epitaxy, crystal growth, mineral physics, elastic-plastic rheology, physics and chemistry of mineral inclusions, nanominerals, hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis of nanominerals, pulsed laser ablation of minerals.
