Biography

Guido Veronese (P.h.D.) is a Clinical Psychologist and individual, marital and family systemic psychotherapist. He got graduated in Clinical and Community Psychology at the University of Padua. He obtained his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Milan-Bicocca, where he currently holds the role of Associate professor and teaches Clinical and Community Psychology.

Expert in intervention on extreme and collective traumas, he works and researches in areas affected by political and military violence and severe human rights violations.

Research

Guido’s research interests: - Functioning factors in contexts of collective trauma - wellbeing and resilience in crisis and war contexts - individual/ collective trauma and human rights - child development in contexts of political and military violence - helpers & health providers trauma and posttraumatic growth - efficacy and effectiveness of systemic-relational psychotherapies. - psychopathology and system of meanings in multicultural contexts - action research and participative clinical and community intervention in war-affected and displaced populations
