Biography
Fabio Quassoli is an associate professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Research at the University of Milan-Bicocca where he teaches Qualitative Research and Intercultural Relations. In recent years, he has worked on immigration control policies, criminalization of migrants, the judicial system, discrimination, multiculturalism and intercultural communication. On these issues, he published a volume and various articles in international and national journals, as well as chapters in edited volumes. He is currently coordinating the Milano Bicocca team as part of a national project on media, terrorism, and security. He is also participating in an international research network on the governance of large metropolitan areas and is writing a book on immigration control in Italy over the last three decades.
