The University of Milan-Bicocca, together with the European University Alliance INVEST, will celebrate European Doctoral Day with an online webinar titled “Strengthening Doctoral Collaboration in Europe: Cotutelle Opportunities within INVEST”.
The initiative, linked to WP5 Task 5.2 Doctoral Education, highlights the importance of doctoral training and international research collaboration across Europe.
The webinar, organised by the University of Milan-Bicocca and coordinated by Professor Paola Branduardi, aims to raise awareness of INVEST’s doctoral cooperation framework, with a particular focus on co-supervision opportunities, which enable joint supervision between universities in different countries. It also seeks to promote doctoral student mobility and strengthen collaboration among researchers, supervisors, and doctoral students within the alliance.
The program will include an overview of doctoral cooperation within INVEST, a presentation of the co-supervision model and its practical aspects, testimonials from a doctoral student and a supervisor, and a live Q&A session to encourage interaction and exchange.
Open to doctoral students, professors, researchers, and administrative staff, the event will ensure broad visibility across the European doctoral community. Participants will also be invited to share feedback after the event, helping to shape future initiatives and further strengthen doctoral collaboration within the alliance.
