The conference will last 2 days and will address the main legal issues underlying the social rooting of artificial intelligence and the digital processing of personal data from a comparative perspective between Europe and the United States. The analysis of the general picture will be completed on the second day with an in-depth examination of the sectors in which the impact of these technologies and their regulation is particularly felt: the workplace, consumer market and justice.
The Conference, promoted by the Department of Business and Law of the University of Milano Bicocca (DiSEADE), the University of Drexel, and the University of Rennes, will enable a two-day full immersion in an interdisciplinary and international debate among scholars from American and European universities on one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
