FIORE BRUNELLA

Brunella Fiore is an Associate Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University of Milano-Bicocca, where she teaches Sociology of Education in the Primary Education Sciences program and Sociology of the Family in the Social Work degree program. Her primary research interests include: children and adolescents' relationships with screen time, students with special educational needs, particularly focusing on giftedness, schools and universities, families, educational system assessment, declining birth rates, new and old generations, primary and secondary socialization, gender dimensions, labor market and educational research applications, longitudinal and multilevel analyses, database organization, statistical techniques for handling data, and large-scale datasets.

She serves as an external evaluator for schools within the National Evaluation System (SNV). She is a member of the interuniversity ABCD center, the interdepartmental DITWEL (Digital Transformation and Wellbeing Lab), and the Digital Wellbeing Center at the University of Milano-Bicocca. She collaborates with ADI (Associazione Docenti Italiani – Italian Teachers Association) on the topic of giftedness, including significant international partnerships.
