Biography
Brunella Fiore is Assistant Professor in Sociology, at the University of Milan-Bicocca where she teaches Sociology of Education for the Degree Course in Primary Education and Sociology of the Family for the Degree Course in Social Service. She obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor. Her main research interests involved: schools, universities, families, evaluation of the education system, denatality, new and old generations, primary and secondary socialization, gender-related dimensions, teen-ager and new media, gifted students, research applications with respect to the work and education, longitudinal analysis, multilevel analysis, database functionality, data management techniques and large data sets. She is an external evaluator of the schools for the SNV. She is a member of the inter-university ABCD center and of the Scientific Committee of the Departmental Studies Center “LAW AND BICOCCA PLURALISM - BiLap. She is part of the working group for research of national interest (PRIN) "The evaluation of school-work alternation: a longitudinal study in Italian high schools".
