FRANZOLINI BEATRICE
Biography
Beatrice Franzolini is an Assistant Professor of Statistics. Her research interests lie in Bayesian statistics and probabilistic modelling, with a focus on random probability measures, dependent and dynamic models, clustering, and change-point detection, with applications to biostatistics and the social sciences.
She obtained her PhD in Statistics from Bocconi University in 2022. Before joining the University of Milano-Bicocca, she held research positions including a research fellowship at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore and a junior assistant professorship at Bocconi University. Her work has been recognized with early-career awards, including the 2024 IMS New Researcher Travel Award and the 2025 ISBA Blackwell–Rosenbluth Award.
