Biography

Anne-Iris Romens (PhD) is a research fellow at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milan – Bicocca. She holds a PhD in social sciences, a master's degree in political science and a master's degree in human rights. Before doing research in academia, Anne-Iris Romens worked for nearly 4 years with institutions and non-governmental organisations in France, Italy, Colombia, and Brazil. Her research interests regard migration, care and social reproduction, labour process, industrial relations, and remote work, which she analyses from an intersectional and decolonial perspective.
