CANDIDO ALESSANDRO

Associate Professor of Constitutional and Public Law at the University of Milan Bicocca and lawyer with the right to represent clients in the Court of Cassation.

In the academic year 2025/2026 he teaches “Public Law Institutions”, “Cultural Heritage Legislation” and “Competition Law”.

Author of two monographs: “Confini mobili. Il principio autonomista nei modelli teorici e nelle prassi del regionalismo italiano” (Giuffrè, 2012), based on his doctoral thesis, which won first prize in the national legal studies competition in memory of Prof. Fausto Cuocolo (2011); 'Disabilità e prospettive di riforma. Una lettura costituzionale' (Disability and prospects for reform. A constitutional reading) (Giuffrè, 2017).

Author of numerous publications on public, constitutional, regional, administrative and economic law, he has taught at the Catholic University of Milan and Piacenza, the University of Milan Bicocca, the University of Milan and the University of Florence.

Since 2019, he has been President of the “Associazione ex studenti Collegio Sant'Isidoro” of the Catholic University of Piacenza.

Since 2024, he has been a member of the Board of Arbitrators of the National ACLI and a member of the Training Commission of the Piacenza Forensic Foundation.

By decree of 28 May 2025, he was appointed by the Minister for Disabilities as an expert pursuant to Article 9 of Decree No. 30 of 2025, entitled “Regulations implementing Article 32 of Legislative Decree No. 62 of 3 May 2024 concerning national training initiatives and the transfer of resources to the Regions for the training, including at a local level, of those involved in basic assessment procedures, multidimensional assessment procedures and the development of individual life plans”.
