The Master’s Degree in Geological Sciences and Technologies has a duration of two years and requires the acquisition of 120 credits (ECTS) for the achievement of the degree.
At the end of the studies, the Master's Degree in Geological Sciences and Technologies is issued.
The degree allows access to second level Masters and to PhD Programs at the University of MilanBicocca or at other universities according to the procedures established in the respective regulations.
Master's degree in Geological Sciences and Technologies give the opportunity to enroll in section A (senior geologist) of the professional register of the Order of Geologists after passing the State Exam.
The Degree Course of study aims to guide the student from the collection and analysis of geological data to the elaboration, interpretation, decision and management, and has been structured so as to constitute a logical and harmonious continuation of the BSc Course in Geological Sciences and Technologies.
The Course is offered by the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, which was selected by MIUR as one of the five Departments of Excellence in Earth Sciences in Italy.
