For the first time, Italy, and more specifically Milan, will host the Annual Conference and General Assembly of the Marie Curie Alumni Association at the University of Milan-Bicocca, putting the city at the centre of international research for three days.

More than 300 young winners (or alumni) of the scholarship dedicated to the scientist Marie Curie will be guests of the University from 14 to 16 March 2024 to discuss research, policy and professional development, focusing on this year's theme: "10 years of MCAA: past, present and future".

The annual MCAA conference is an important forum for debate between researchers and stakeholders from academia, policy, industry and the third sector. Over the years, it has become a key platform for researchers to help shape science policy in Europe and its impact on research and society at large.

The General Assembly will take place on Friday 15 March (from 9am) and will be opened by the Rector of Milano-Bicocca, Giovanna Iannantuoni.
