Account and authentication

Bicocca's digital identity management system (IdM) grants access to our online services. The system ensures great security of digital identities, in full compliance with the European laws on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with two-factor authentication and integration with the italian Public Digital Identity System (SPID), which allows access to the digital services of public administrations with a single identifier.

Our apps for students, such as Student Services and E-learning, and management applications for our staff use this authentication system.

• Forever active for authentication

• for our employees
• shaped like name.surname@unimib.it
• Automatically activated after you signed your contract
• active for authentication for 18 months after the end of your contract
  • email service is closed some time after the end of your contract

• for external users needing to access our services
• the account lasts 10-day for guests
• the account lasts as required for all other reasons
