Biography

I am associate professor of medical statistics SSD MED/01 since 2016.

I participate in research projects in the experimental laboratory and clinical observational fields. I face the path that leads from the aspects of designing and writing protocols to the statistical analysis of the data that emerged. This activity stems from the collaboration with experts in various areas of medicine belonging to my Department and involves the experts of the Bicocca Clinical Research Office (BiCRO), a service of the Milano-Bicocca University that supports researchers and doctors of the University and ASST Monza who want to carry out non-profit clinical trials.

My research activity is also focused on methodological aspects where I mainly deal with survival analysis.

I participate in international conferences / conventions where I present contributions. I am co-author of 113 articles in international journals.

I teach medical statistics courses at the Specialist Degree courses in Medical Biotechnology and Nursing and Obstetrics, at the single cycle degree course in Medicine and Surgery, at the three-year degree courses in Physiotherapy and Neuropsymotricity Therapy of the developmental age. I collaborate in teaching in various Masters and Postgraduate schools of this university and other Italian universities. I participate in experiments related to the blended e-learning methodology.

I provide support to management aspects of my department relating to the evaluation of the quality of research.

I am a member of the University Ethics Committee and OPBA.
