ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL PROCESSES
The Master’s Degree in “Analysis of social processes” (Level of qualification: 2nd cycle / 7 EQF level) offers advanced training in sociology and methodology of social research. A student must have 30 CFUs in the disciplinary areas of sociology, methodology of social research and statistics in order to enrol for the Laurea magistrale programme.
A student will also need to know a language of the European Union among French, English, German and Spanish (level B2 or equivalent). The normal duration of the course is two years.
After completion, in the first year of study, of the common teaching subjects which provide methodological and technical skills, students can choose among three different paths:
- City and territory
- Work, business and society
- Knowledge Society.
Internships are an essential feature of the program as well as the laboratories combined with the courses of each curriculum, aimed at developing particular skills in the chosen path of study. The Laurea magistrale in “Analysis of social processes” will allow graduates to carry out professional activities in public and private organizations related to the areas of social research; human resource management; labour policies; culture and communication; social, urban and local development.
